USDA has announced $390 million in grant funding available to Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Farmers Market Nutrition Programs (WIC FMNP) throughout the county to modernize benefit delivery and increase benefit utilization at farmers markets. State agencies (including Indian Tribal Organizations and territories) can submit applications during three different timeframes:
- Quarter 2 – application due date: April 25, 2022 (award expected May 25, 2022)
- Quarter 3 – application due date: June 24, 2022 (award expected July 25, 2022)
- Quarter 4 – application due date: August 23, 2022 (award expected September 22, 2022)
